INDUS HOSPITAL Karachi, Pakistan.
"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning how to dance in the rain."
The Indus Hospital is the state of art tertiary health care center providing a unique concept in health delivery. It is spreaded over 20 acres of land ensuring premium quality health-care services in densely populated korangi area completely free of cost, Managed by a passionate and compentent team of local and expatriate professionals working round the clock. Today, The Indus hospital is the only initiative of its kind in Pakistan providing specialized medical care in an impressive manner.
At The Indus hospital you will experience the optimism, kindness and humanity and the concept of cultural conflicts that many of us believe in will fade away. It is Pakistan's first paper less Hospital with ensures the Quality care and treatment which not only satisfy one's self but develop hope and joy while being treated. The staff and doctors including the whole team that completes Indus hospital deserves to get a applaud by every person who has visited Indus and those who are reading this article, for not only the work they are performing but the way they are doing their jobs with devotion and enthusiasm.
When a patient enters into the boundaries of Indus Hospital he is first taken to the out patient Department (opd) where he is examined and further sent to the specialist where he is provided with prescriptions and medical treatment, and if a patient is in severe condition he is immediately admitted and kept under observation by highly efficient team of doctors and nurses. Beside Indus Hospital contains its own Research and development center, laboritries, seminar hall, training room, Nursing school, Tuberculosis department, dialysis center, Day care center, pediatric department, blood bank, Communication and resource development department and and state of art representing Mosque, their are further expansion plans and work going on to Improve and utilize the Hospital land in more efficient way as it is now. One of the most impressive and resourceful department Of Indus Hospital is Communications and Resource development department which is responsible for planning and implementing the marketing strategies, the donor relations, giving out volunteering opportunities and performing quiet tough tasks, this department owes a efficient team who works hard and turn out ideas into realities and implement them and that is one reason why many Pakistanis appreciates and recognize the Indus Hospital on large scale.
I'd volunteered at The Indus Hospital and experienced the optimism and immense potential of services and a quality health care while every out- patient and in-patient I talked with was happy and satisfied with the services and medical care provided to them, even the doctors and other employees are satisfied, passionate and energetic for being part of TIH.  Though every In-patient has its own sad story behind their illness but they all had smiles and glimpse of hope in their eyes they knew that they are at the right place. The environment of TIH is likely friendly, healthy ambiance and not depressing. Words are not enough to describe my  experience at TIH that in reality forgiveness, emotions and care for others exists and people all around Pakistan and out side Pakistan donates certain amount to enroll patients for treatment, they not only donate but visits hospital to meet and see the work done by their own eyes and you may also visit TIH and you will be welcomed by the team.
